Scout Merit Badges

Many Popcorn Sale activities may be considered for accomplishing requirements needed to earn Merit Badges and reach other Scouting goals. Each Council should encourage their Merit Badge counselors and Unit Leaders to allow Popcorn Sale activities to count toward achievement requirements when it makes sense to do so. Councils that allow and encourage Popcorn Sale achievements to be used toward Scout Merit Badges or other awards, should list the awards and suggest how Popcorn Sales may help in the Scout achieving their goal.
